Gallgher Girl book discussion chapter 22

Synopsis: Cammie Morgan is a student at the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women, a fairly typical all-girls school-that is, if every school taught advanced martial arts in PE and the latest in chemical warfare in science, and students received extra credit for breaking CIA codes in computer class. The Gallagher Academy might claim to be a school for geniuses but it’s really a school for spies.

Even though Cammie is fluent in fourteen languages and capable of killing a man in seven different ways, she has no idea what to do when she meets an ordinary boy who thinks she’s an ordinary girl. Sure, she can tap his phone, hack into his computer, or track him through town with the skill of a real “pavement artist”-but can she maneuver a relationship with someone who can never know the truth about her?

Cammie Morgan may be an elite spy-in-training, but in her sophomore year, she’s on her most dangerous mission-falling in love.

This is a very short chapter so there will only be three questions. And I am currently suffering from fever, feeling very sickly.

  1. Do you notice details about people? What is one detail you ALWAYS notice about people?
  2. Cammie appears to be afraid of Mr. Solomon. Do/did you have a teacher that you were very afraid of? What is it about them that scares you the most?
  3. Do you think that Cammie might change her mind in future about studying CoveOps? Do you think that by studying this subject could possibly endanger the life of the students?

P.S. thank you all for taking part on the discussions. We’re coming to an end soon. Currently, we are still not sure if we want to continue book 2. But I’ll keep you posted. =) But in future months I will be having more book discussions on other books but everything is not confirmed yet.

And by the way, look out for a awesome new rating system coming soon!

Gallagher Girl Chapter 18 book discussion

There might be spoilers! Be warned.

  1. Cammie is neglecting her project because of Josh. Have you ever hard any of your friends neglect their school work because of a boy? Do you think Cammie should manage her time between school and Josh better?
  2. When Mr. Solomon said “Hot date?” do you think he knew what Cammie has been up to?
  3. How do you feel about teachers knowing personal things about you? Like whether you have a boyfriend.
  4. Cammie’s mom asks her if she wants to watch a movie with her. How would you feel if your mom asked you to the movies? Would you be embarrassed?
  5. In real life, there are boarding schools and girls don’t interact with guys. What are your feelings on that?

DISCUSS!! Comment about other people’s opinions. ;D It’s more fun that way.

Gallagher Girl Chapter 14 book discussion

There might be spoilers! Be warned.

  1. Do you think wearing the painful black boots were worth it (as they give Cammie height) or is it not worth the pain?
  2. Guess why Cammie was speechless when she saw Josh? Too handsome? Wasn’t expecting him?
  3. Why do you think there was awkward silence? Do you think the reason Cammie is quiet is because she doesn’t want to reveal too much or accidentally talk in another language? What about Josh?
  4. Who do you think is more shy? Cammie or Josh?
  5. Why do you think Cammie blurted out Solomon? Do you think she has been thinking about him so it’s the first thing that came to her mind?
  6. Why do you think Macey knows so much about boys? Do you think she is the type of boy-crazy kind of girl?

On Tuesday Cecilia posted Chapter 13. On Friday Reyna will be posting the discussion for Chapter 15 and Katie with Chapter 16 on Saturday.

Gallagher Girls Chapter 10 book discussion

  1. Do you believe in love at first sight?
  2. Why do you think unlike Cammie, Liz is wide awake?
  3. Do you think that spying on Josh’s house is a bit extreme and stalkerish?
  4. What if Josh turned around and saw Liz and Bex dangling on the roof? How would Cammie handle the situation?
  5. As we learn from the chapter, guys can be confusing! Share with us your confusing experience with a guy. Optional 😉

On Tuesday Cecilia posted Chapter 9. Today Reyna will be posting the discussion for Chapter 11 and Katie with Chapter 12 on Saturday. I’ll edit the list later sometime this week with all the links to all the chapters.

Ladies, I am so sorry for posting the disucussion late. I had a really bad day on Wednesday. Hope you understand! There are no right or wrong answers. This discussion is open to everyone! Just a FYI, this post contains spoilers.

Well, here are the questions:

  1. Why do you think Prof. Smith is so secretive?
  2. Why do you think corn dogs are so popular? Are they really that good?
  3. If you were Cammie and Bex and Liz were busted, would you cause a diversion or attack Smith or join your two bffs or continue the mission?
  4. Do you think Cammie’s mission was successful?
  5. Why do you think “he” aka Josh was staring at Cammie? What do you think made Josh notice her?

On Tuesday Cecilia posted Chapter 5. Today Reyna will be posting the discussion for Chapter 7 and Katie with Chapter 8 on Saturday.

Join in the Ally Carter book discussions

Cecilia and I decided to start reading the Gallagher Girls series together. We are going to have weekly book discussions on the chapters.

This will be very fun as we’re going to discuss four chapters each week on four different blogs! So now Cecilia and I are each going to pick one lucky person to host this book discussion on their blog each week. That could be you! You can ask any questions and we’ll discuss. Everyone is welcome to join in the discussion. We also recommend reading ahead of time so that you won’t be spoiled if the post contains spoilers. We are starting next week with the first book I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You.

This discussion will last until the 3rd book in the GG series is released, Don’t Judge a Girl by Her Cover (June 9).

If you want to host the book discussion at your blog, fill up the form below and sent to my email kate.readthisbook (at) gmail (dawt) com.
