Can you believe September is almost ending? I can’t. 😦 I wasn’t intending on doing IMM this week but I had some free time so I decided to do it after all. Some books below are borrowed and some are bought/received.

In My Mailbox:
Guardian of the Gate by Michelle Zink (Yay! The long awaited sequel is finally here!)
The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa ( I absolutely LOVED the first novel, The Iron King, and it’s one of my top books on faeries.
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
City of Glass by Cassandra Clare (Who can resist the Mortal Unstruments series after reading the first book? Definitely not me. πŸ™‚ )
Glimmerglass by Jenna Black
The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May, & June by Robin Benway
The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff (Big thank you to the person who sent it. You know who you’re!)

I’m in a midst of reading The Replacement and I’m loving it. Maggie Stiefvater does not lie! This book should be read aloud after dark at a whisper.

In My Mailbox (58)

I haven’t been doing IMM lately so here’s about three weeks worth of books. Oh and this is my first IMM of September. Isn’t this month a great month in YA? So many fabulous releases:
The DUFF by Kody Keplinger, Losing Faith by Denise Jaden, Extraordinary by Nancy Werlin, The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff…

In my mailbox:
Forget You by Jennifer Echols
One Night That Changes Everything by Lauren Barnholdt
Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins x2 (one library copy and one from Book Depo)
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Siren by Tricia Rayburn

Some books above were bought, some borrowed but none were for review.

What did you get in your mailbox? Read anything good lately? I quite enjoyed Forget You and One Night That Changes Everything. Oh and MOCKINGJAY, OMG!!!!!!!!! Peeta!!!!! Okay, fangirlying over.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater (I bought this one a while back and it’s finally here! Doodled!)

Linger by Maggie Stiefvater (I need a pretty hardcover to match my pretty Shiver hardcover. By the way, you can win a shiny new Linger over here.)

Bad Girls Don’t Die by Katie Alender (For YOU guys to win! Look out for the giveaway soon.)
The Karma Club by Jessica Brody (I loved this book so much, I had to buy a copy for myself!)
Kiss Me Deadly: 13 Tales of Paranormal Love by Maggie Stiefvater, Becca Fitzpatrick, Rachel Vincent, Diana Peterfreund, Michelle Zink and many other authors! (So excited for this because many of my favorite authors are in it!)

Borrowed (not pictured):
The View from the Top by Hillary Frank
And Then I Found Out The Truth by Jennifer Sturman
Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs
Wanted by Sara Shepard (Really? I mean come on, I totally saw the ending coming.)
The Passage by Justin Cronin (The beginning was slow but the second half of the book was very addictive! Every attempt to put it down was unsuccessful. I would soon return to my novel, eager to gobble it up.)

Read any of the above? Thoughts? πŸ™‚

In My Mailbox (56)

I did not do IMM last week because I didn’t receive any books. 😦 But I’m back this week and I have one thing to say: I love libraries! Thank goodness for libraries, they support my reading addiction.

Onto the books:

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater (audiobook!) My first ever audiobook and did I mention that Shiver is my favorite book, ever? πŸ™‚ It also arrived one day after Linger was released in US. What a coincidence! Big thank you to you know who for sending it all the way to me. Also came with bookplates signed to yours truly.
100% Gleek – The Unofficial Guide to Glee by Evie Parker

I also received swag that include a orange nail polish and rootbeer lip gloss from Heidi Kling which I won from her Twitter contest!

Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson I absolutely adored this. I strongly urge you to pick it up the next time you’re at the bookstore. Road trips + good music tastes + boys + self discovery.
Need by Carrie Jones

Borrowed from the library:
The Lighter Side of Life and Death by C. K. Kelly Martin
The Witchy Worries of Abbie Adams by Rhonda Hayter
At First Sight by Catherine Hapka
Everlasting by Angie Frazier

What did you get this week?

By the way, did you enjoy Linger as well? And did you cry?! Let me know! πŸ™‚ If you liked Linger, Goodreads has quotes from Linger!

Borrowed from the library (not pictured):

Runaway by Meg Cabot
Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles
(Better than PC! A definite must-read!)

I’ll edit in the pictures of Conrad’s signature and the B&N giftcard later, maybe.
