In My Mailbox (30)

It is time for In My Mailbox again. This weekly meme is hosted by The Story Siren and she was inspired by Alea.

This week I got from the library:
Nothing Like You by Lauren Strasnick
When Holly loses her virginity to Paul, a guy she barely knows, she assumes their encounter is a one-night stand. After all, Paul is too popular to even be speaking to Holly, and he happens to have a long-term girlfriend, Saskia. But ever since Holly’s mom died six months ago, Holly has been numb to the world, and she’s getting desperate to feel something, anything—so when Paul keeps pursuing her, Holly relents. Paul’s kisses are a welcome diversion, and it’s nice to feel like the kind of girl that a guy like Paul would choose.

But things aren’t so simple with Saskia around. Paul’s real girlfriend is willowy and perfect… and nothing like Holly. To make matters worse, she and Holly are becoming friends. Suddenly the consequences of Holly’s choices are all too real, and Holly stands to lose more than she ever realized she had.

Perfect Mistake by Kate Brian
Ariana Osgood has everything she’s ever wanted. A place at elite Atherton-Pryce boarding school. Fabulous friends. A new crush. And most importantly, a new identity. Now that she’s officially become Briana Leigh Covington, Ariana’s troubled past is dead and buried.

Or is it?

When the one person who knows her secret arrives on campus, Ariana decides it’s time to say good-bye to her ex-best friend — forever. From the author of the bestselling PRIVATE novels comes a series about the dark world of wealth, secrets, and PRIVILEGE.

The Eternal Kiss: 13 Vampire Tales of Blood and Desire by various authors
There’s an allure to vampire tales that have seduced readers for generations. From Bram Stoker to Stephenie Meyer and beyond, vampire stories are here to stay. For those fresh-blooded fans of paranormal romance or for those whose hunt and hunger never dies, these stories have what readers want! This collection of original tales comes from some of the hottest, most popular, and best-selling YA writers, including:
Holly Black, Libba Bray, Melissa De La Cruz, Cassandra Clare, Rachel Caine, Nancy Holder & Debbie Viguie, Cecil Castellucci, Kelley Armstrong, Maria V. Snyder, Sarah Rees Brennan, Lili St. Crow and Karen Mahoney.

Possessions by Nancy Holder
Lindsay is hoping for a fresh start, to get out of San Diego, where everyone remembers when she had her breakdown, and get away to boarding school, even if it is a boarding school as creepy as Marlwood Academy. But Lindsay is happier, and even manages to make a great new friend, Julie. Then, the school’s most popular girl, Mandy starts acting super creepy. Rumors abound, but it’s becoming more and more clear to Lindsay that something else is at work…something darker and more dangerous than just a houseful of mean girls.

Nothing in the mail or from the bookstore. What did you get this week?
