Twilight Tuesday part 1

This week I have so much news for you guys. Part one is basically from articles around the net and Part 2 will show the New Moon poster (!!!).

Robert Pattinson celebrated his 23rd birthday on 13th May while Nikki Reed celebrated her 21st birthday on 17th May.

Fan’s Tattoo of Robert Pattinson’s signature a little too far from Twilight Examiner:

Too far or completely ordinary?

Too far or completely ordinary?

A fan by the name of Stephanie posted this photograph on her Twitter account. It is of her wrist, tattooed with the signature of Robert Pattinson. While it is not unheard of, or completely extraordinary to have signatures or insignia tattooed on one’s body (I’ve seen the likes of Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon autographed into the skin of die-hard fans, and even the Earth symbol from Dan Brown’s book Angels & Demons etched into someone’s arm), but is this taking fandom of Pattinson too far, or is the decision completely ordinary?

Woman finds ‘Twilight’ sequel script in trash, from The Associated Press:

A St. Louis beauty salon owner accidentally happened upon one of the hottest Hollywood scripts — the pages from an upcoming “Twilight” sequel — in a trash bin.

Casey Ray found two scripts, one for the vampire sequel “New Moon” and one for a different movie titled “Memoirs.” She decided to return them to the studio making the films. In return, she was invited to attend the movies’ premieres, her lawyer said.

Ray recently was waiting for her fiance to finish work when she spotted two scripts in a trash container. She was outside a hotel where actors were staying during a St. Louis shoot for the upcoming George Clooney movie, “Up in the Air.”

It’s not clear how the scripts wound up in the bin.

How lucky! I am glad she was honest and returned it and not sold it on eBay or put it up online!

Recently (not sure when exactly), the New Moon/Eclipse cast including David Slade & Stephenie Meyer gathered at a Vancouver restaurant for the New Moon Wrap Party and Eclipse Kick-Off Party.

There was an all-cast New Moon Wrap Party and Eclipse Kick-Off Party happening at Blue Water. All the cast members were partying in a private room at the restaurant. David Slade was there to kick things off, Stephenie Meyer also, as well as Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria), Rob Pattinson (Edward), Kristen Stewart (Bella), Taylor Lautner (Jacob), Ashley Greene (Alice), Michael Sheen (Aro), Jamie Bower (Caius), Charlie Bewley (Demetri), Dakota Fanning (Jane), Cameron Bright (Alec) and I’m pretty sure I saw Melissa Rosenberg (screenwriter) there.

I saw a couple cast members holding thick manuscripts, including Rob, so I’m PRETTY sure they were possibly giving out Eclipse scripts (with David Slade, Stephenie and Melissa doesn’t it seem possible?). How cool is that?

Read the full article on Vancity Allie. She included some really awesome photos as well!

This is a really funny . I laughed so hard!

And how could I almost forget this.

TwiLite: A Parody by Stephen Jenner

Love between a teenage girl and a vampire can be a beautiful thing. Then again, it can get a little ugly. Just ask Stella Crow. Stella is a clumsy but otherwise ordinary girl whose life takes a radical turn the moment she meets Edweird. Though perfect on the outside, Edweird Sullen is remarkably unrefined on the inside. He also happens to be a one hundred year old vampire, trapped in the body of a teenage boy, who has yet to finish high school. Nonetheless, Stella is unconditionally smitten with him. But not everything is rosy in this gloomiest of towns. Edweird’s enemies have sworn to put a tragic end to their romance. Against all odds, the bond between Stella and Edweird is nearly strong enough for their love to survive. Most love stories between an impossibly handsome vampire and an ungainly young woman have a magical ending. This one – not so much.

Looks really funny. I will hunt for my copy on Friday.

Edit: Stephen informed me that TwiLite is only available via internet shopping which means you can only get it at Amazon and Barnes and Noble. =(
